At the dawn of its 90th anniversary, the cooperative cellar of Tain is constantly renewing itself and surprising us! Two great projects are about to materialize at the end of 2022: a new boutique in the city center and the renovation of the Villa Caroube at the foot of the Colline de l'Hermitage. It was therefore our duty to tell you a little more about these new house for the Cave de Tain !
The Cave de Tain house: A shop in the heart of town and much more
On the banks of the Nationale 7, a new gourmet address opened its doors on September 22 ! Notice to oenophiles and gourmets: take a tour of this shop offering wines from the Cave de Tain but not only.
A wine shop and other delicacies.
On the famous National 7 holidays’ road, it is in the heart of the gourmet district of Tain l'Hermitage, between the Cité Chocolat Valrhona and the Pascalis house, that the Cave de Tain has inaugurated its new wine shop. In store, you will find many references from the Cellar but also a few bottles from other major wine regions: Champagne, Burgundy... and wines from various grape varieties, amateurs will be won over. For gourmets, a whole range of products made in Drôme Ardèche: jams, fruit juices, walnut oil, teas... to bring back tasty memories of our beautiful region (even better than a Proust madeleine). As you will have understood, this novelty from Cave de Tain is to be discovered urgently, you will undoubtedly find some great gift ideas there!
New place for the team of Terres de Syrah to learn all about our wines.
Terres de Syrah by Cave de Tain is a dynamic team offering you many thematic tastings and great activities in the middle of the vineyards (scooter, segway, walks, etc.). Now, the team welcomes you to 29 Avenue du Président Roosevelt, to enjoy a beautiful tasting area that can accommodate groups of around 20 people. Take the opportunity to discover all their services on their new online store and book/offer a tasty and sensational experience!
The Caroubes villa of the Cave de Tain: a school, tasting evenings, beautiful events...to be discovered very soon
We are still waiting a bit... but we can't wait to visit the Villa Caroubes located on the Larnage road, just a few steps from the Cave de Tain. After a year of work, the villa will soon open its doors! A splendid place with an exceptional park and a building renovated in the rules of the art which will soon host: seminars, the Terra Rhona vocational training school but also the many events organized by the Cave de Tain. An inauguration is scheduled for next spring in order to take full advantage of the place, but this new addition to the Cave de Tain should welcome its first customers in January. While waiting to discover this new promotional tool, we go to the store to taste the new vintages in moderation.
Don’t forget the classics: The Tain cellar
It is therefore a breath of fresh air blowing over the Cave de Tain at the end of the year, however we do not forget the classics! The address: 22 route de Larnage remains essential. A modern shop with more than fifty references in 5 northern Rhône Valley appellations (Hermitage, Saint Joseph, Crozes-Hermitage, Cornas and Saint Péray), a wide range of prices to suit all wallets and especially high quality wines to satisfy all palates. The store is open all year round, 7 days a week, especially November and December. A date to remember: the 2nd weekend of December for all lovers of the Hermitage appellation, exceptional promotions on these great wines from the Rhône Valley. Santa Claus will certainly find some great gift ideas! It is also an opportunity to plan the bottles that will accompany your festive meals, for perfect food and wine pairings, if you ever needed an excuse to come, it is all found!
