PDO (Protected Declaration Origin) Crozes-Hermitage
Ageing : Mid-term ageing potential. Can be enjoyed young.
Red: Syrah grape variety
Tasting/food-wine pairing: Generous with red fruit and floral notes. Complements charcuterie, lamb or roasted guinea fowl.
White: Roussanne & Marsanne grape varieties
Tasting/food-wine pairing: Harmonious with hints of dried fruits. Complements hors d'oeuvres or freshwater fish.
PDO Saint Joseph
Ageing : Reds: Four to five years ageing recommended for best expression. Whites: Excellent drunk young.
Red: Syrah grape variety
Tasting/food-wine pairing : Powerful with notes of peppery spices and a hint of violet.
White: Roussanne & Marsanne grape varieties
Tasting/food-wine pairing : Harmonious with apricot and floral notes. Ideal partner for light contemporary cuisine.
